Accommodations, Travels and Fees

Do you apply for accommodation?

Yes, we apply for accommodation as a part of the package with your university/institution accommodation. We only apply for on-campus accommodation. If you are interested in private accommodation we can recommend areas and buildings for you to consider

What types of Accommodation are there?

Depending on the program you are going for there is a range of accommodation to select from. Click here for details

Is studying in the UK harder than the USA?

This is a common misconception. The UK and USA have different approaches to teaching, neither is harder or easier. Please refer to our post on the difference between the two for a clearer idea 

Can I study on a tourist visa if I already have one?

No, you cannot study on a tourist visa. You will need a student visa to study in either the UK or the USA

Can my parents/family travel with me?

Yes. Your family can travel with you, on a tourist visa

What if I don’t know where to study?

Our experienced team will be able to provide you with all the information you need on where to study in terms or universities, cities and locations, based on your requirements. Get in touch with us and we will be able to guide you!

What are the fees for to study abroad?

Tuition and living costs differ from program to program, and from one location to the other. Once your program is decided we will discuss tuition fees, instalments and living costs to provide you with all the details you need

What if I don’t know what to study?

Helping you make the most suitable decision is at the core of what we do. We have an experienced team that has designed sessions to advise and help you to make that decision. Details on these sessions can be found here

How many universities can I apply for?

This is dependent on the program you are applying for. We recommend applying to 4 universities, with a maximum of up to 5 universities

Do I need to take an English Exam to apply for university?

You will need to take a recognised English Language Test, i.e. Academic IELTS, TOEFL, Pearson to apply for a degree

What documents do I need to submit with my application?

When is a good time to apply for university?

There isn’t a fixed date for all universities and programs however we can provide you with suggested dates to apply by. This would be general, as some universities have their own deadlines. Please contact us for more details and we will be more than happy to help

Undergraduate Degree

What is an International Foundation Year?

The international foundation year is a bridge year to help you smoothly transition from school to university. This is primarily for international students that have not taken an internationally recognised qualification in high school i.e. IB Diploma, A-levels

How long is an undergraduate degree in the UK?

Typically the degree is 3 years (not inclusive of the foundation year)

Medicine and Dentistry is a total of 5 years

How long is an undergraduate degree in the US?

Typically, you can complete an undergraduate degree in 4 years, however this could vary depending on the program and subjects you select

What is the difference between UKVI Academic IELTS and Academic IELTS?

The UKVI Academic IELTS is required for students that would study an undergraduate or postgraduate program in the UK and apply for a student visa. The Academic IELTS is widely accepted at international universities outside the UK

I need to improve my English Language, but I don’t know which course to apply for.

We have a large range of courses that you can benefit from to reach your goals. The dates, duration and locations are all flexible to meet your needs. Once you tell us your goal, we will suggest options for your course

I need to study for the IELTS exam, what do you suggest?

We have a range of books for IELTS you could purchase here  to study for your exam, each targeted for a skill (Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing)
